How we use the personal information you send us through this website.
1. Who we are
3L Security Services Limited is the controller of the personal information described in this notice. We are registered in England and Wales, with our registered office at Oriel House, 26 The Quadrant, Richmond, TW9 1DL. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), registration number ZC096201.

2. What this notice covers
This notice covers the two forms on this website (the contact form and the careers form), the automatic acknowledgement email we send when you use them, and your visit to the website itself.
3. What we collect, why, and how long we keep it

Please do not send us health information or other sensitive information through these forms.
We do not use your information for marketing, we do not sell it, and we do not make decisions about you by automated means.
4. Who processes your information for us
We use two service providers, who process your information only on our instructions:
- Netlify (United States) hosts this website, stores form submissions and runs the code that sends the acknowledgement email. Netlify’s Data Processing Agreement (last updated 9 June 2026) states that Netlify has certified to the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and that transfers of personal data protected by UK GDPR take place on that basis. If that framework stops applying, the agreement provides for the ICO’s International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (sections 14.2 and 14.4 of the agreement).
- Microsoft (Microsoft 365) provides our email. Copies of form submissions and acknowledgement emails are held in our mailbox. Microsoft processes this information under its Products and Services Data Protection Addendum, which uses the Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers outside the UK.
On our home page and our compliance page, your browser also loads a Cyber Essentials certificate badge from BlockMark (registry.blockmarktech.com), which verifies our certificate. BlockMark receives your IP address, as any website you visit does. When we tested it on 17 October 2026 it set no cookies and stored nothing on your device. BlockMark is not our service provider and its own privacy terms apply.
5. Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- ask us to delete your information
- ask us to restrict how we use your information
- object to how we use your information where we rely on legitimate interests
- ask for information you gave us in a portable format, where this applies

6. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have used your information, please tell us first by emailing info@3lsecurity.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and tell you what we are doing about it.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

This website does not set cookies. See our cookie notice.
8. Changes to this notice
We will update this notice if how we use your information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
